Arc Nursery

There are 59 childcare spaces at The Arc Nursery for kids between the ages of three months and five. We are a charitable organisation, and the nursery is managed by a board of trustees made up of parents whose kids currently attend or have previously attended the nursery (for more information on this please see Who Are ACT). The nursery has exclusive use of a detached, two-story historical structure with a ground-floor outdoor garden and a roof garden with a natural mud kitchen, pond, and planting area. The kids get a chance to use both of them every day all year long. All of the children receive wholesome home-cooked meals that are prepared on the premises by our own chef. We frequently take the kids on outings to nearby parks and attractions, as well as on numerous trips throughout the year to interesting locations like farms and museums. This enables us to provide them with the best learning opportunities and allows them to explore and learn about certain subjects. The nursery is open year-round from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., however it is closed on all bank holidays and three inset days so that the employees can receive training. In our facility, we are dedicated to the ongoing professional growth of our employees, which benefits the kids by raising the standard of childcare we provide. Each room has a designated Room Leader, and our nursery manager is assisted by a deputy manager. The nursery adheres to all of our regularly updated rules and procedures as well as the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which is set forth by Ofsted.
