Additionally, from Monday through Thursday, we offer a lunch club where kids bring a packed lunch. The non-profit Apsley Lock Pre-School was founded in 2004 with the express purpose of serving the needs and best interests of the local children. We adhere to the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum while also pursuing the interests of the kids, realising that every child is unique and that they grow and learn in various ways. Associated parents make up the trustee group that oversees our operations. Our goal is to create a stimulating atmosphere that is safe, secure, and conducive to the growth and learning of children who are not yet of compulsory school age. We accept kids as young as 2 years, 4 months. We participate in the financing programme for 3 year olds. Children who qualify for assistance for children under two years old are now accepted, subject to space. After turning three, every child is entitled to 15 hours of financing per week. If you can spare a few pounds, it will make a HUGE difference! Every money we get goes toward purchasing materials for the kids.
