Chagford Montessori Nursery School

In a former bungalow on the outskirts of Chagford town, not far from Chagford Primary School, is where Chagford Montessori is housed. One main classroom, kid-sized restrooms, a tiny room, and a music room are all included in the nursery. Thankfully, we have two safe outside areas: a playground with a climbing frame and slide, a mud kitchen, a wendy house, and a huge xylophone; and a garden with a grassy area, a willow den, and a pond.

The Montessori Evaluation & Accreditation Board's accreditation is something we are proud of (MEAB). The accreditation offers a standard by which we can assess whether we are committed to Maria Montessori's ideology, the originator of the methodology we use. We also received the "ICAN" accreditation, demonstrating to the certifying organisation that we offer first-rate assistance with young children's language development.
