Camp Beaumont - Watford Grammar School for Boys

The Free School, a 60-student charity school established by Dame Elizabeth Fuller in 1704 on property close to the parish churchyard in Watford's centre, was the forerunner of the Watford Grammar Schools.
In 1881, the schools split into distinct foundations for boys and girls, and in 1912, the boys school relocated to its current location.
Watford Grammar School for Boys, an excellent institution, changed its status to an academy in 2010 and today enrols more than 1400 students.
We are an all-ability school, and we are proud of the high standards that our students have attained in academics, athletics, music, theatre, and a variety of other extracurricular activities.
