From the School
Bradley C of E (VC) Primary School is a small, friendly village school, set in an idyllic rural location in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, near the market town of Ashbourne. Here at Bradley, we have high expectations of our children, encouraging and supporting them to achieve their very best, not only in the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science, but also the more practical and creative subjects such as Art, Music and PE. Our school serves students in Reception to Year 6. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, with many opportunities to encourage the development of personal skills, helping to ensure that our children grow up happy, confident individuals with a thirst for life-long learning. Our goal is for every child, regardless of ability, to receive the best education possible in a setting that supports and actively promotes Christian principles. We aspire to do this through ensuring the success of every child. Our ethos is founded on the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs, so that our pupils develop and demonstrate the skills and attitudes that will allow them to participate fully in and contribute positively to life in modern Britain. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you have any inquiries regarding our school.
